The Race for The Top Office

Hello My Fellow Americans:

I come to you today with the topic that I am sure is of Great Interest to you all. Now whether you agree with me or not, the main issues that affect us all are gas prices, the economy, the attack on the American homeowner through mortgage rates, health care, education, crime, and ending the war in Iraq.

Now much like most people I am still considering who should I place my upcoming vote to? Even though we have this historic selection of candidates to pick from, our vote should not be an issue of race, gender, age, Democrat, or Republican. I do think especially in today’s world it should be who you believe will get the job done. It should be the individual best suited to cleaning up the mess our country currently finds itself in. The task before the new commander and chief will not be an easy one.

It will take time, it will take change, it will take a president who will have our best interests at heart, the interest of the American people. The American citizen, like you, like me.
